From his birth till now, it's been 6 weeks already. And since then he has grown pretty big. His "height" is 55cm and his weight is 4.4kg(as of 29/04). During my 1 month confinement, he has never slept with me during the nite. One reason is Colin and I are both bad sleepers and we toss alot during the nite. Another reason is we are scared that we might injure him or something during the nite. But i guess the most valid reason is that we are selfish and we wanted to have our good night rest.

Recently Cedric has been sleeping with me in my room. The reason being Colin has to go back camp and I want to let my mother rest. Can't be that selfish right? For the 1st night that he was with me, Cedric was really an angel. Though he still cries for his meals but it was bearable. But the 2nd nite was bad cuz he cried non-stop...even after i fed, changed his diaper and burped him. I only managed to stop him from crying by putting him on his side with his pacifier stuck in his mouth. And that really does the trick(started by my mom).

I felt that after sleeping with him for the past few days I've more patience with him. I could also differentiate his cries and not hurry to him at the slightest whimper(cuz he can really fake). Right now, as I'm writing this entry, Cedric is sleeping behind me on my bed. Hopefully he can remain this quiet for the next 3-4 hrs till his nxt feed.

Think I'll go catch some sleep now. By the way I've consolidated all his pictures into one album/link under the Gallery by month for easier viewing.

P/S: As I always said, clever ideas are invented by lazy people and I admit that I'm lazy. So being lazy, I refuse to wake up and go to the kitchen to make Cedric's milk. And thus i came up of this idea of placing the thermal flask and milk dispenser by the bed so that i wun have to walk to the kitchen. Nice idea rite...hehehe.
