Dear all,

I'm a first time Mom and i'm super excited about my new status. This whole week has been a roller coaster ride for me and i feel that i'm totally stressed up.

I never ever thought that i'd be a Mom at such a young age(23yrs old). And true enuf, i dun think i'm quite prepared for it. It's been only 1 yr since i left school, and though i've started wrking, i'm still not financially stable. My hubby-to-be is a yr younger and he's still serving in the army. That makes our savings really difficult.

Abit about hw i find out that i was pregnant.... lets juz say i knew my body too well. My period was always regular...I meant full 28 day cycle with occassional ±1 day, due to stress. This July, my period was suppose to come on the 25th but it nv did. So as per norm, i waited for the nxt day. Still it nv came. I had a very stressful wrk so i tot maybe that was due to stress...but as the week ended and there's still no sign of it, i became worried.

On 2nd Aug, i went to the pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test kit. My worst fear came true. I was tested positive... I couldn't believe my eyes. I told my fren about it and we arranged to go for a visit at the clinic d nxt day.

3rd Aug - went to a clinic in Jurong East for the test again. Doc confirmed that i'm pregnant and in my 5th wk. quite thrilled but worried about breaking the news to my parents and oso my bf whois in taiwan at that moment.

4th Aug - told colin about baby. Though as much as he wanted to hv this baby, we both knew that we can't afford to keep this child. When he asked me to abort, my heart was devastated. cried more than usual. But that evening when i ask him if i could keep the baby, he promised to let his dad know and oso to seek permission. The conclusion is that i could keep my baby.

9th Aug - National day. hvn't been doing much as it's a national holiday. But the morning sickness is setting in. A pic here to show you ppl reading out there hw my baby shd look like now.
